Great Bear Business Corporation
The Great Bear Business Corporation (GBBC) is an Indigenous-owned alliance of seven Coastal First Nations. It was set up in 2009 to help protect and use the Great Bear Rainforest in a way that benefits both the environment and local communities. GBBC works on projects that support sustainable development, environmental care, and Reconciliation. Its goal is to create long-term jobs and bring revenue to the member Nations, helping with conservation, community projects, and self-determination goals.

Coastal First Nations
The Great Bear Business Corporation is made up of a coalition of Coastal Nations dedicated to protecting their territories and fostering sustainable economic development. These Nations have stewarded the Great Bear Rainforest for over 14,000 years.
